Baby Blanket
Sorry for yet another horrible picture. I have asked for a new camera for Christmas..
Here is a baby blanket that I sewed up for my cousin who is expecting her 2nd baby soon. It's obviously for a girl! When I had a baby girl I got SO tired of all the pink, pink, pink and so I wanted to do something girly but not overly pink. Luckily I came across these 5x5 squares of fabric with the coordinating yard at Wal-Mart. It took me one Sunday afternoon to lay it out and sew it all together.
Congrats to John, Ana, & Diego on the upcoming birth of your daughter/sister :) Can't wait to see her beautiful self <3 br="br">3>

Foodie Friday-Teriyaki Steak Skewers
It doesn't get much easier or tasty than this. I bought some thin cut steak from the store, cut it into strips, and marinated it in Kikkoman Garlic and Green Onion Teriyaki Sauce, overnight, then skewered them up.
Then I grilled em up! They were a little crispy due to the fact that I am still getting using to grilling but they were still so good! These will for sure be making an appearance on my dinner table again.

Jar of Whimsies
I love doing whimsy swaps! Probably one of my most favorite Crafster swaps EVER. I mean cause who doesn't need more random cute stuff??? While most of the things that are sent are little whimsical things or supplies we also had to make three crafted items.
My partner just happened to share my love of bacon and had these periodic table symbol pillows pinned. Of course a pillow is a bit big to fit in a whimsy jar so I made them into scrabble tile magnets. As you can see the symbols spell out BaCoN :)
She also said she quite likes mushrooms, likes to embroider, and participated in the Felt Badge swap so I made a felt mushroom needle book for her.
Last but not least is a felt bacon mini hoop.
Along with these three crafted goodies I also sent quite a few other whimsical items like buttons, sequins, and such. You can check out all the whimsical goodies in the Jar of Whimsies gallery on Craftster
