Mini 13 Days of Halloween Swap 2013

Here are a few of the goodies I made for deadsweaters in the Mini 13 Days of Halloween Swap.

Bottled Ghost using an apothecary printable from Alpha Stamps

A vintage Halloween image made into a pendant along with pumpkin earrings.

Two wrap bracelets made from recycled flip flop bangles and assorted beads and charms.

a tunnel book made using random paper, ribbons, borders, etc from Alpha Stamps and Retro Cafe Art Gallery.

A beaded bat charm which is attached to the key fob wristlet.

Last but not least is an embroidered skull.  The pattern is from Urban Threads and is supposed to have some lettering which I omitted when I stitched her up.

I had a ton of fun making all these Halloween goodies for my partner and I hope she liked everything in her package!

Now I guess it's time to say goodbye to ghosts and ghouls till next year. Have a safe and Happy Halloween!

Craftster Hoopla Along Month 6

I made this Jack Skellington hoop for the October Hoopla Along on Craftster.  The theme was fall or Halloween and he just happens to be one my favorite Halloween Characters!  It also worked out since my partner in the Trick or Treat Swap just happened to like him too!  So he ended up going to a new home where I hope he is loved <3 br="">

Weekend Trick or Treat Swap

Here are the goodies I made my partner in the Weekend Trick or Treat Swap on Craftster.  The point was that we got our partners on Friday and had to send a package to them by Monday.  Here is what I accomplished on my crafty weekend....
After a rather large fight with my sewing machine I was able to whip up this coffee cup wrap in a fun Halloween fabric with a skully button.

I had purchased this really nice thick cardboard bookmark and decided to embellish it with some more of my dapper skeleton paper cuts.

I am not sure which side is my favorite of the two....

I was inspired by a pin I saw on Pinterest and printed out a vintage photo and added some googly eyes for the card I included in the package.

I made marble magnets using orange paper, orange fabric, and a sharpie.

This bottlecap brooch contains a cute vintage image of an owl and a black cat that I had in my stash.

I made this altered matchbox from a printable I purchased from Ten Two Studios

and inside is a pendant with a vintage image of a black cat.

Whew that was a busy crafty weekend!

Halloween Shrine

In the Mini 13 Days of Halloween Swap on Craftster you have to make and buy your partner 13 small things that are then opened one per day like a little countdown.  This is one of the things I made for my partner that I was most proud of.

I have had this little wooden shadowbox sitting around for a few years and I knew that I was finally going to get to be able to use it!  I spray painted it black then went online and started ordering supplies to fill it with all sorts of spooky bits.

This box features a dapper looking skeleton along with a bat in the background.

Is this really a cat?  Or maybe an animangus in cat form? Either way she is hanging out by the light of the moon on a spooky night.

These two cabinets feature different poison bottles, spiderwebs, and a skull bead.

I used a cameo out of my stash to use as a wall hanging along with a tiny metal owl and skull  for the first box.  The second has a murderous women going after a woman who is already in her coffin.

Finally a creepy keyhole that appears someone is peeking through and a spooky skull inside that little glass jar.

I had a really hard time sending this off to live with someone else as I really wanted to display it in my own house.  My partner really seemed to like it so I am glad it ended up going to a good home where it will be appreciated.

A lot of the supplied were purchased from Retro Cafe' Art Gallery and Alpha Stamps.
