We are almost Disney bound again!  A few more days until we leave on our trip and I can't wait! I did a few previous posts with my Disney Bucket lists but I thought it would be easier to combine them then I can share what we got to and what we didn't. I also have had to make a few adjustments since there are quite a few things closed while the parks get ready for the 60th Anniversary that begins in May.

Invite Your Partner Swap

The fabulos pinkmichk invited me to swap with her in the Invite Your Partner Swap on Craftster WAAAAY back in July.  I posted only a few photos of the amazing things she sent to me on Monday since the pictures I took way back when seem to have disappeared...

Here are the things that I sent to her...

A crayon roll that I made for her son

A few sets of note cards cut with my Silhouette Cameo.  I quite like how the top three turned out.

A beaded Kumihimo bracelet done in pinks which is her favorite color.

Two stenciled shirts from some of her favorite fandoms. A Harry Potter and Hunger Games mashup and  Doctor Who featuring the tenth Doctor and the TARDIS.

Finally a key fob done in what reminded me of a race flag.

Since these things were made months ago I don't have links to all the sources but could track them down if anyone is interested.  I know I found the pattern for the Crayon Roll on Skip to My Lou, and the Doctor Who pattern is from a free pumpkin carving pattern I found online somewhere.

Manic Monday

Way back in the summer I was invited to join the IYP Swap by another awesome Craftster member.  I can't find all the photos of all the goodies she sent me but here are a few

Foodie Friday-Valentines Peanut Butter Blossoms

These cookies were a year in the making... I saw the idea on Pinterest last year and had every intention of making them, I even bought the heart shaped peanut butter cups.  But life was rather hectic and crazy last year and it just never got done.

Now that life has settled back into a semi-normal schedule I have been able to cook and bake a lot more so these were going to get done for sure.  You make them just like you would regular peanut butter blossoms but substitute a heart shaped candy in place of the kiss.  I used Reese's Peanut Butter Cups for an extra peanut buttery taste but these would also be great with a heart shaped Dove chocolate.

Manic Monday

It's been a while since I have posted.  I have been rather busy with some life changes, work, crafting, and vacation planning.  I am going to try to post more regularly and try to make one new recipe per week.  Hopefully I can get my kids in the kitchen with me so they can pick up some cooking skills..

In the mean time here are some wonderful Valentines Day goodies I received from SonjaBoo in the Sweet & Easy Valentines Swap.
