Bleach Stenciled Tee

This is not my first attempt at a bleach stenciled tee but it is the first to actually turn out correctly...
This is a Hungarian Folk design that I cut out of freezer paper then ironed on to the shirt.  Put a piece of wax paper or thin cardboard between the layer of the shirt then use a Clorox Bleach Pen to add the bleach.  I stood and watched the color fade to my liking then tossed it in the wash.

I loved the way this shirt turned out so much that I tried to make a second shirt that was a complete failure!  Good thing this one which was for a swap turned out!

Your shirt is lovely! I love the mottled effect in your design.

I'm trying my hand at spray bleaching a t-shirt in a similar fashion tomorrow. I was going to give it a go today but it is entirely too windy outside. :)

I have no idea how to "reply" directly to comments, so sorry! I have done one spray bleached shirt before and it turned out okay. I like the control with this one much better!

(I know what you mean about replying...I have the same problem.)

I'm trying to push myself out of the "neat and clean" mode of crafting that I've always had and just letting things happen. I'll post about my shirt when I get it finished. :D
